I thought you might be interested
in this polymer plaque which a friend of mine made of her daughter Liron
sleeping/dreaming. Rachel was a total beginner at polymer at the time (still
is, though she's a really fine potter), and just figured out what to do
by playing with the clay. The actual size of the piece is 2" x 3.5"

LIRON SLEEPING
By Rachel Friedman
|
This piece was created in 1987, and was
inspired by a photograph I took of my daughter sleeping. The "dream"
part was based on a picture she had recently drawn. She was seven years
old at the time and loved to work with polymer clay. Working side by side
with her was our quality time together, and this piece is a wonderful souvenir
of those quiet creative moments.
