Step Six: Roll out strips of black, orange and brown clay on #3 setting on pasta machine. Cut in half lengthwise. This will be your window shutter cane.
Step Seven:  Stack, repeat. Add a layer of black to top and bottom. Wrap stack with black. Refrigerate or freeze.
Our translucent slices for windows and door frame.
Step Eight: Lay slices on inside of windows and check for position. Add tiny drops of TLS onto slices where they meet windows. Bake for 20 minutes and cool completely.
Step Nine: Take your chilled shutter cane and mark evenly with a ruler or Marx-It at 3 millimeters. Slice off 26 shutters. Reduce until it is the height of the 2 smaller windows. Slice off 4 pieces.
Step Ten:   Put a dab of TLS on the back of each piece on the back of each slice of shutter cane. Apply  slices to sides of windows, skewing if you like, putting them on straight if that's your choice.
Step Eleven:  We put a ghost at the front door at the same time we put the shutters on. He has TLS on his head and, er, hands?
