Ghost Stand
Thomas Ojeda

Supplies
  • Scrap polymer clay
  • Round or flat marble

Step One: Roll out a log of scrap clay to the height of your ghost plus about 1/8". Press marble into one end of the log.
Step Two: Place on your work surface and press down to adhere to surface. Pull enough clay down from log to form a "skirt" as wide as the marble.
Step Three: Pull a bit of clay up to meet the widest part of marble. Smooth so there is no seam to transfer to your clay.
Back for about an hour.

That's it. It doesn't have to be beautiful.
This one leans because of the shape I wanted for the ghost.
(It's coming to get you, bwahahaha!)
Tip: Put a little cornstarch or talc over the stand each time before shaping your ghost if your clay is very soft or sticky.
