This month's letter is in several parts!

WOW
I am truly amazed at how fast this was all pulled together and the excellent content and quality of the articles! (OK, a few more than one word). :)
Through reading the articles, you can "feel" the spirit in which Polyzine is being produced....a true love for the craft.
I did not receive any type of refund for the previous, UNAFFILIATED venture, but I feel that in some round-about way, it's being reconciled.
I would like to make a small donation, but am not sure if that would be over-stepping the bounds and turning it too much into a "business" for you. And please, don't get me wrong, I don't want to turn this into a paid epublication...I just want to show my gratitude for what is being done here and help ensure that it can continue!
Do you take PayPal, and would it be possible to put a reference on the site for others who might feel the same way? Pleeeeeeze?
Lori Greenberg
WOW!
What a tremendous offer. We took Lori up on her offer, and she is the first donor of money to Polymer Clay Polyzine.
We do not intend to turn this magazine into a subscription magazine. We do intend, however, to begin incurring costs by registering as a not-for-profit organization, registering with the Library of Congress, and moving to a website with our own domain name.
With that in mind, the editors of Polymer Clay Polyzine have decided to pool together some money, and we welcome anyone who, like Lori, would like to contribute. However, NO ONE is, in ANY WAY, OBLIGATED to contribute!
To make sure we are wholly open about our not-for-profit finances, we are posting a contributions page. On this page, we will post the names of donors (or anonymous if preferred), donation amount, and the expense the donation covered.
We love Polyzine and want to see it flourish. We know people in the community want to help out monetarily. We also know that many of you can't part with your hard earned cash for a variety of reasons, and that's fine with us. Just keep reading and enjoying is all we require from our readers.

We want to start a Readers' Gallery that features projects you've made from the different articles in Polyzine. Mail your gifs or jpgs to Polyzine and we will be delighted to publish them!

Sue will begin writing for us in the February issue. She works from a twin-sized bed and has been experimenting with adapting clay equipment to suit her needs. She will be writing about everything from dealing with the physical layout of her workspace to dealing with the emotional challenges she faces.
I encourage anyone who is in a similar situation to write to Sue at Polyzine to share your experiences, offer suggestions, or ask for advice.
I'm thrilled to welcome Sue aboard.
