The Southern Connecticut
Polymer Clay Guild is pleased to announce our fourth retreat, Clay
ConneCTion 2004. Join us for an
inspiring, relaxing weekend with informal demonstrations and plenty of
sharing and learning in an open studio setting. We welcome polymer clay
enthusiasts of all skill levels.
When:
Friday, July 23 through Sunday, July 25, 2004
Location: Clay ConneCTion 2004 will be held at
Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. The college's 300-acre
campus is nestled next to Sleeping Giant Mountain State Park and offers
walking and hiking opportunities in addition to the artistic
inspiration provided by nature's beauty.
Work area:
Alumni Hall, centrally located on campus, is a large open
air-conditioned area with good general lighting, but feel free to bring
your favorite small work light. Demonstrations will be held in the same
room.
Accommodations:
Rooms are double or single occupancy with large shared bathroom
facilities, with three or four rooms per suite. Please bring linens,
pillows and towels and anything else you may require, such as a reading
lamp.
Meals: All meals will be served in the dining hall. If you have special
dietary requirements, please note them on your registration form.
Schedule:
July 23, 11:00 am - Check-in begins
July 25, 5:00 pm - Checkout time
July 23 through July 25 - Set up your work area in Alumni Hall, attend
or present any of the informal demonstrations or sit back and relax and
watch a video from our guild's library.

Limited to 75 people, opens April 17, closes July 1. For a Registration

Cost:
Multiple options are available; complete with all meals from dinner on
Friday to lunch on Sunday, work area in Alumni Hall, attendance at
informal demonstrations and video screenings.
Commuter
options (and for those who prefer to stay at one of the local motels):
Friday or Sunday: $65
Saturday: $95
Full weekend: $155
Full package options:
Double-occupancy room: $205
Single-occupancy room: $245
Written cancellations are subject to a $30.00 processing fee. No
refunds will be given after July 1, 2004.
Your
confirmation packet will include driving instructions from major
interstate highways and Bradley International and Tweed-New Haven
