Site owner Louis Marquette has assembled a comprehensive listing of craft shows and crafters all over the country with the added benefit of a search function that sorts by zip code, city and state, type of event, date, and even by keyword search (I entered “polymer clay” and found three events right away).

The site is easy to use: Crafters create a profile which allows them to search through a 20,000+ show database. Promoters create a profile and then can list their show for 30,000+ artists and crafters to view. And, it’s all FREE!

How can Louis offer us such a valuable resource and not charge us an arm and a leg? He uses a brilliant combination of sponsored links and ads that are just as valuable as resources as the show listings. Additionally, the site grows itself -- the more people who use the site, the more content there is in the form of show listings and show comments! This adds up to more sponsors and advertisers.
