Wilton Fondant
Decorative Punch Set
|
My opinion
is that
if you can do it with fondant you can do it with clay. The Wilton folks
prove me right with their Fondant
Decorative Punch Set that creates
"openwork shapes with imprinted detail." The set includes an angled
handle and 8 design punches to make 3-dimensional decorations as easily
in polymer clay as it does in fondant. Use this tool to make
elegant openwork borders for scrapbook pages, greeting cards, gift
tags, and bookmarks. You can even use it to create unique designs
on clay-covered boxes. The possibilities are as infinite as your
imagination. Visit www.wilton.com
for more information. |
3-in-1 Color Tool from C&T
Publishing
|
As many of
us
clayers already know, quilter's tools translate quite nicely for use
with polymer clay. The 3-in-1 Color
Tool from C&T Publishing
makes choosing color combinations
easier than ever. Based on the Ives color wheel, and augmented with red
and green value finders, this tool simplifies matching and choosing
colors and it's portable for carrying in a purse or totebag while
shopping. Those of you who make polclay buttons will find the 3-in-1
Color Tool indispensible for fabric selection. See all the details at www.ctpub.com.

Makin's Clay
|
I personally
love
tools from Makin's Clay®,
and now that our very own Patty Barnes
is a distributor, I
have one more reason to recommend this line. It's easy to see the
bright green display in your local craft stores and get drawn into the
vast array of cutters, texture sheets, and shaping tools. In the
next few issues of pcPolyzine,
I'll be showing you a variety of tools from the Makin's Clay® product line. This
month, I recommend you try any
or all of Makin's® Clay Cutters. There are
currently eight basic designs -- round, square, triangle, rectangle,
oval, star, heart, and flower; and 12 specialty designs -- butterfly,
frog, teddy bear, dove, hand, fish, snowman, bulb ornament, angel,
Santa, tree, and bell. Each set contains three cutters. Makin's Clay®
products are distributed in the United States by
Walnut Hollow www.walnuthollow.com.
