COMPETITIONS

CALLS FOR ENTRIES
May 2005

Dear Polymer Clay Artist,

Lark Books would like to personally invite you to share your latest polymer clay jewelry projects for possible inclusion in Katherine Aimone's upcoming Polymer Clay Jewelry, to be published by Lark Books during the spring of 2006.

We are particularly interested in high-end, studio jewelry that features a variety of techniques (those both familiar and new to polymer clay). This book will have a high aesthetic, to appeal to jewelers interested in polymer clay, as well as polymer clay artists
who want to make high-quality jewelry pieces.

We are accepting print-quality images (35 mm slides, transparencies, or high-resolution digital files on CD) for jurying by the author. You may submit up to five jewelry pieces, with a detail shot of each piece. Your images should be carefully labeled with your name and an
image number (for example, 1, 2, and 3 for main shots and 1a, 2a, 3a for detail shots). If you're sending digital images, please refer to the digital submission guidelines for more information.

Please complete and return the attached entry form with your images. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your entry packet; international artists can include postal coupons for the return of their film.

The submission deadline is August 1, 2005. There is no entry fee. If your work is included in the book, you'll receive full acknowledgement, a complimentary copy, and a 40% discount on additional copies of the book.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to viewing your work!

Best,
Rebecca Guthrie, Assistant Editor
