Congratulations to our polyclay pal, Lisa
Pavelka, whose Poly-Bonder was recognized as a Primedia/Craftrends Product of Excellence at the 2005 CHA (Craft and Hobby
Association) show in Atlanta.

Poly-Bonder is an instant bonding cyanoacrylate (super) glue specially
designed to fuse raw or baked polymer clays at up to 300 degrees
Fahrenheit. It comes with its own brush-on applicator in 5 gram bottles.

More important than how amazing this glue is, is how beautiful Lisa
looked the night of the awards banquet. (Check out that snazzy dress).
We love you, Lisa!!!!
Wowser,
as Inspector Gadget would say. It's great to have the ole publishing
machine cranked up again at the wigwam (aka pcPolyzine World
Headquarters). So many of you have written such nice emails to me
over the last few months and I would like to thank you for your loyal
and ongoing support. (We've added a Guest Book so you can
post comments for the whole world to read).
There's lots of news to share with you!
If you've already looked at the Events page, you'll notice it is now in
calendar format complete with links to the events and contacts. This
format allows us to promote many more events than in the past.
Editorial Advisory Board member, Trina Williams, is our official
Calendar Goddess, so send your announcements to her at events@pcpolyzine.com.
I would especially like to thank all the members of the Editorial Board
for being so supportive. They each do so much behind the scenes to keep
my head above water, and trust me, that's not an easy job. I love each
of them dearly.
We have some surprises in store for you beginning with the very next
issue of pcPolyzine. Talented polyclay artist and good friend,
Linda Hess, has joined our happy group and will be bringing you
completed scrapbook pages that use polymer clay embellishments. Linda's
clever designs will have you pulling out push molds and coming up with
your own unique page adornments.
We're also featuring those luscious new Sculpey III colors on handmade
greeting cards. You can see all 16 shades in the Clay Crumbs
column in this issue. Look for the cards in the July issue.
And last but not least, this is a good time for you to join (or renew
your membership) the National Polymer
Clay Guild. As a member, you
receive PolyInformer,
the
guild newsletter, and special discounts on guild events. Be sure to
read the personal
message from National Polymer Clay Guild President, Patty Barnes,
in this issue of pcPolyzine.
Keep on claying,
and write
to me if
you get a chance.
