Very Basic Bead Making Steps

1. Condition your clay.

2. Send clay through the pasta machine at the thickest setting.

3. Use a small cookie cutter to cut out clay. This will give you uniform beads.

4. Roll the bead in your palm until smooth.

5. Let rest for about 15 minutes.

6. Skewer the bead with a doll making needle, wooden skewer, or other long sharp item.

7. Bake according to package directions: either suspend the bead or lay it in polyester batting.
