Additional Embellishments

Musical Note Embellishment

Fig. 3
1. Take the remaining bronzed clay and roll through pasta machine from #1 setting through #4 setting.  Lay the sheet of clay on your work surface.  Cut 2-4 ovals out of the sheet of clay.

2.
Roll (by hand) the leftover bronze clay into a skinny snake (about 1/8” thick).  Cut  1½” strips from the snake.  Add one to the side of each of the ovals, creating the stem for the musical notes.  Bend and pinch ½” down from the top of the stem.  This will form the tail of the musical note (Fig. 3).  Place musical notes on baking sheet.

Journaling
4. Be sure to include a journal entry about your pictures.  This can be handwritten or typed on the computer (I used Microsoft Word with a variety of fonts and font sizes).

Optional Embellishment: To make journaling stand out, highlight the chosen paper with a sheet of bronze clay (rolled out to #6 thickness). Cut edges with the wavy blade so they frame the journal entry (Fig. 4). Bake for 15 minutes at 275 degrees.

To Assemble Page:

Competed Scrapbook Page

1. Look at the picture of the finished page for placement of pictures, letters, saying, and musical notes.  Attach all of the pieces using Memory Book GlueDots. Note: some elements will take more GlueDots than others.
