EDITOR'S LETTER

I've had quite a busy month! Lots of exciting things to do, both for Polyzine and my own polymer clay pleasure!

First, we've purchased Adobe Acrobat 5.0. This is a funny -- as in not haha -- story. When I loaded the program, my machine asked me if I wanted to keep or erase the Adobe Acrobat 4.0 program that was already loaded on my machine.

I can't believe I already had the program on my machine. It came bundled with my Microsoft Office programs. *Note to self -- smack forehead, hard.*

Anyhow, we have the program, it's on my machine, and now I have to learn how to use it. I will be turning all Polyzines into PFD format for those of you who want it. Look for this feature in August. I'm pretty sure I'll have learned the program by then.

Second exciting thing: Alecia Edwards has joined our staff to write the kids' column. If you have any questions, comments, etc., that would be appropriate for the kids' column, e-mail them directly to Alecia.

Now, on to the exciting things for me. June is, of course, my favorite month because it's my birthday month, so I treated myself to loads of fun things. I went to the Muse one day (check out A Day at the Muse. I also went to the Mid-Atlantic Fiber Association Conference (check out Polymer Clay at MAFA. I also went to see Dido in concert, and she's very good! I recommend seeing her if she's in your area.

Enjoy July's issue, and keep on claying!

Deirdre
